'These vessels were made using a smooth, white earthenware clay body hand thrown on the potter’s wheel and finished in a clear fluid glaze.
In this collection I have applied a minimalist approach to enhance the simplicity of the shape and form. My intention was to create a range of ceramics that subtly use the changing interplay between light and shade to bring about a feeling of quietness and calm. The creative challenge was to unite the elements that give these pieces life, in particular the gentle flowing curves and soft organic changes in tone. This glaze in combination with the vessels flowing curvaceous lines gives a pleasing contemporary, yet classical, appearance that would suit most interiors and make an attractive focal point to any room.'
